South Sudan Cultural & Wilderness Expedition
Duration: 5 Days / 4 Nights Destinations: Juba, Bor (Dinka Tribe), Sudd Swamp, and Mundari Cattle Camps
Day 1: Arrival & Journey to the Dinka Kingdom
Upon your arrival in Juba, you will be met by our expert guides who will assist with the Alien Registration process. Once formalities are complete, we begin a 3-hour drive toward Bor.
The Dinka are renowned as the tallest people in Africa and live as nomads along the banks of the White Nile. Upon arrival at a Dinka village, we will set up our mobile camp.

Evening: Embark on an introductory tour of the village and cattle camps as the herds return for the night.

Day 2: Dinka Traditions & The Sudd Boat Cruise
Explore the architectural and social heart of the Dinka tribe this morning.

Morning: Visit the Luaks (massive traditional huts used for cattle) to learn about Dinka heritage. This is a prime time for a morning photography session.

Mid-Day: Drive to Bor port for a 40-minute boat cruise on the White Nile, offering a glimpse into the vast Sudd Swamp, a paradise for bird watching.

Afternoon: Visit the local markets in Bor. If the schedule aligns, we will attend a traditional wrestling match, a high-energy centerpiece of Dinka culture.

Overnight: Tented camping.
Day 3: Transition to the Mundari Cattle Camps
After an early breakfast, we pack our camp and head toward the lands of the Mundari tribe.

The Journey: Enjoy a packed lunch en route as the landscape shifts.

Arrival: Upon reaching the Mundari camp, we pitch our tents and immediately immerse ourselves in their unique culture.

Evening: Witness the “ash beauty” of the Mundari. Observe the intricate herding rituals and capture the ethereal atmosphere of the camp during the golden hour.

Overnight: Tented camping.
Day 4: Mundari Rituals & Return to Juba
Experience the raw, ancient connection between the Mundari and their Ankole-Watusi cattle.

Morning: Observe the morning chores, including the cleaning of cows with ash to repel parasites, the blowing process, and the traditional use of cow urine for cleansing.

Afternoon: After a final session in the camp, we drive back to the capital city of Juba.

Overnight: Hotel accommodation in Juba.

Day 5: Juba City Tour & Departure
On your final day (05/03/2026), explore the vibrant pulse of South Sudan’s capital before your flight.

Sightseeing: Visit the sprawling Konyo Konyo Market, the historic All Saints Cathedral, and the colorful Maasai Market for souvenirs.

Departure: Transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
